Does Jesus Trust Our Trust?

Have you ever taken a leap of faith?

Is that a good thing?

Maybe? probably not?
A “leap of faith” is similar to “blind faith”, Meaning it’s a faith jump into the dark, the leaving without any good reason for doing so. It’s faith with no rational, reasonable foundation. It’s faith against the evidence. God wants us to believe because he is so believable! Jesus wants us to believe because of the signs he did as well as the words he said.
So the big question this morning is twofold:
– Do you believe your believe? Do you trust your trust?
– Does Jesus trust your trust?!
Jesus is gracious and will work with us where our faith is at the moment, helping us to grow our faith so that it is more trustworthy and more connected to the reality of who he is and what he has done by his death, resurrection and present reality in the church by his Spirit.
