This morning we are finishing the sermon series, “God’s Word To Us and To the World”.
Revelation: God disclosed truth about Himself and His work to a biblical author.
Inspiration: God moved those authors by the Holy Spirit in such a way that what they wrote down was exactly what He wanted written down.
Canonization & Preservation: God preserved His word from generation to generation and saw that it was gathered together in such a way that the church has a collection of writings for her beliefs and practices. Yes, the Bible is an indestructible book.
Illumination: The Holy Spirit opens the eyes of our heart to not only understand Scripture but to grasp and be grasped by it.
This morning we delve into Transformation: God radically changes His people through meditation and application of Scripture.
