So far in the gospel of John, we’ve seen where Jesus has eluded the crowds, saying “my time is not yet come”. Until now. This week, we see Jesus saying “the hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified”. As Jesus enters Jerusalem, fulfilling prophesy as he comes, we see the King of Glory being acclaimed by the crowds who shout “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”. This is Palm Sunday.
