Jesus knew all authority had been given to him.

Jesus knew where he came from.

Jesus knew where he was going.

Jesus knew who he was and his place in the story.

And because he knew this, he was able to humble himself and serve in the most lowly ways possible.

There is power in knowing these things about yourself.

When you know where you are from, where you are going, and who God has made you, you can “wash feet”, become a servant and know that is the path to greatness.
